School of Excellence
Since 2008, NASET has annually recognized qualified licensed private special education schools throughout the United States. Selection as a NASET School of Excellence is the highest honor a private special education school can achieve through our professional association, bestowed on schools meeting rigorous professional criteria with demonstrated exceptional dedication to the field.
Exceptional Charter School
The NASET Exceptional Charter School award recognizes charter schools across the United States that have demonstrated a meaningful and measurable commitment to serving students with disabilities. Recipients are selected based on program quality, inclusive practices, and outcomes for students with special needs, reflecting the best of what charter education can offer this population.
