Educational Consulting, Special Education Advocacy, and Pedagogical Mentorship

At Flourishing Well, I work alongside families and collaborate with educators to translate evaluations, recommendations, and observations into clear, actionable educational support.

Because behind every 504 Plan, IEP, or learning profile is a student who deserves to be known, seen, and meaningfully supported—academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally.

My work is grounded in more than three decades as a career-long educator across public and independent school settings, bringing together educational expertise, systems-level understanding, and a deeply individualized approach to student support. I help families and school teams move beyond confusion and overwhelm toward clarity, alignment, and sustainable educational planning.

Services Include

  • Educational consulting for complex and nuanced learning profiles
  • 504 Plan and IEP guidance, advocacy, and strategic support
  • Interpretation of psychoeducational evaluations and recommendations
  • Student-centered planning for academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaboration with school teams to strengthen communication and implementation
  • Ongoing guidance for families navigating educational decision-making

Mentorship for Educators

Today’s classrooms require educators to hold increasing levels of complexity—balancing curriculum demands, student needs, behavioral dynamics, and emotional wellbeing, often simultaneously.

With more than 30 years of experience as a special educator and educational leader, I provide mentorship and pedagogical support for educators seeking thoughtful, sustainable approaches to teaching and learning. My work helps educators refine observation, strengthen instructional alignment, and better understand what students may be communicating through behavior, regulation, engagement, and learning patterns.

The goal is not simply improved academic performance, but more attuned, responsive educational environments in which both students and educators can flourish.
