Introduction
This literature review and issue of NASET’s Inclusion series was written by Madelyn Llaneras. It explores the role of advocacy and family involvement in supporting the academic and social success of students with Down syndrome. The review commences by providing an overview of Down syndrome, its prevalence, characteristics, and its impact on learning.
