NASET provides educational services, resources, and professional development opportunities in the field of special education, including but not limited to:

3. User Accounts and Registration

4. Educational Services and Content
Course Access: Upon payment, you will receive access to purchased courses for the duration specified in your purchase agreement. Course access is non-transferable and for your personal use only.
Certification Programs: Completion certificates are awarded based on meeting specified requirements. NASET does not guarantee that any certification will be accepted by any third party, employer, or licensing body.
Content Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date educational content, we make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information provided.
Professional Development: Our Services are designed to support professional development but do not constitute legal, medical, or professional advice for specific situations.
5. Membership Terms
Membership Benefits: Annual memberships include access to specified resources, community features, and member-only content as described at the time of purchase.
Renewal: Memberships automatically renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current membership fee.
Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
6. Payment Terms
Fees: All fees are stated in US dollars and are due in advance. Prices are subject to change with notice.
Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods as indicated during checkout. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
Refunds: Refund policies vary by Service and are described at the time of purchase. Generally, course fees are non-refundable after access has been granted, except as required by law.

DAMAGES CAP: OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NASET, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of our Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer service or using account settings.
Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use our Services ceases immediately. We may delete your account and data, subject to legal requirements and our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Arbitration: Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class action or collective proceeding.
Venue: Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of New York County, New York.
15. General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NASET regarding our Services.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Assignment: We may assign these Terms or our rights hereunder without notice. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms.
Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.
